ดาเนี​ยล​ 9:7

​โอ​ ข้าแต่​องค์​​พระผู้เป็นเจ้า​ ความชอบธรรมเป็นของพระองค์ ​แต่​ความขายหน้าควรแก่พวกข้าพระองค์ ดังทุกวันนี้ ​ที่​ควรแก่คนยูดาห์ ชาวกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม และอิสราเอลทั้งหมด ทั้งผู้​ที่อยู่​​ใกล้​และอยู่ไกลออกไป ในแผ่นดินทั้งหลายซึ่งพระองค์ทรงขับไล่เขาไปนั้น เพราะความละเมิดซึ่งเขาได้กระทำต่อพระองค์

O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
