தானியேல் 9:16

ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய எல்லா நீதியின்படியே, உமது கோபமும் உமது உக்கிரமும் உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தமலையாகிய எருசலேம் என்னும் உம்முடைய நகரத்தை விட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி செய்யும்; எங்கள் பாவங்களினாலும் எங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களின் அக்கிரமங்களினாலும் எருசலேமும் உம்முடைய மக்களாகிய நாங்களும் எங்கள் சுற்றுப்புறத்தார் அனைவருக்கும் அவமானமானோம்.

¶ O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
