மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே இந்தத் தண்டனைகள் எல்லாம் எங்கள்மேல் வந்தது; ஆனாலும் நாங்கள் எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களைவிட்டுத் திரும்புவதற்கும், உம்முடைய சத்தியத்தைக் கவனிக்கிறதற்கும், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் முகத்தை நோக்கிக் கெஞ்சினதில்லை.

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
