Bij U, Here, is de gerechtigheid, maar bij ons een beschaamd gelaat, gelijk heden ten dage, bij de mannen van Juda, de inwoners van Jeruzalem en bij geheel Israël, bij hen die dichtbij en die veraf wonen in al de landen waarheen Gij hen hebt verstoten om de ontrouw die zij jegens U hebben gepleegd.
