Daniel 8:12

Es ward ihm aber solche Macht gegeben wider das tägliche Opfer um der Sünde willen, daß es die Wahrheit zu Boden schlüge und, was es tat, ihm gelingen mußte.

And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
