DANIEL 8:9

Men fra det ene af dem skød et andet og lille Horn op, og det voksede umådeligt mod Syd og Øst og mod det herlige Land*; { [*dvs. Jødeland; jfr. Dan. 11, 16. 41. Jer. 3, 19. Ez. 20, 6. 15.] }

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
