​โอ​ ข้าแต่​กษัตริย์​ ​บัดนี้​ขอพระองค์ออกพระราชกฤษฎี​กา​ และลงพระนามในหนังสือสำคัญเพื่อจะเปลี่ยนแปลงไม่​ได้​ ตามกฎหมายของคนมีเดียและคนเปอร์​เซ​ีย ซึ่งจะแก้ไขหาได้​ไม่​”

Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
