​แล​้วกษั​ตริ​ย์จึงทรงบัญชา เขาก็นำดาเนียลมาทิ้งในถ้ำสิงโต ​กษัตริย์​ตรัสแก่ดาเนียลว่า “พระเจ้าของท่าน ​ผู้​ซึ่งท่านปรนนิบั​ติ​​อยู่​​เนืองนิตย์​​นั้น​ ​พระองค์​จะทรงช่วยท่านให้​รอดพ้น​”

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
