દાનિયેલ 6:24

પછી જે માણસોએ દાનિયેલ પર તહોમત મૂક્યાં હતા તેઓને રાજાના હુકમથી પકડી લાવીને તેઓને, તેઓનાં સંતાનોને અને તેઓની પત્નીઓને સિંહોના બિલમાં નાખવામાં આવ્યા. તેઓ બિલમાં નીચે પહોંચે તે પહેલાં જ સિંહોએ તેમના પર તરાપ મારીને તેઓનાં હાડકાંના ચૂરેચૂરા કરી નાખ્યા.

¶ And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.
