தானியேல் 4:23

இந்த மரத்தை வெட்டி, இதை அழித்துப்போடுங்கள்; ஆனாலும் இதின் வேர்களாகிய அடிமரம் தரையில் இருக்கட்டும் என்றும், இரும்பும் வெண்கலமுமான விலங்கு போடப்பட்டு, வெளியின் பசும்புல்லிலே தங்கி, ஆகாயத்துப் பனியில் நனைவதாக; ஏழு வருடங்கள் அவன்மேல் கடந்துபோகும்வரை மிருகங்களோடே அவனுடைய பங்கு இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றும், வானத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவந்து சொன்ன பரிசுத்த காவலாளனை ராஜாவாகிய நீர் கண்டீரே.

And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;
