Or, non siete voi presti, qualora udirete il suon del flauto, della cetera, dell'arpicordo, del salterio, della sampogna, e d'ogni specie di strumenti di musica, a gettarvi in terra, e adorar la statua che io ho fatta? Chè, se non l'adorate, in quell'istessa ora sarete gettati nel mezzo d'una fornace di fuoco ardente; e quale è quel dio, che vi riscuota di man mia?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
