คนเคลเดียจึงกราบทูลต่อพระพักตร์​กษัตริย์​​ว่า​ “​ไม่มี​​บุ​รุษคนใดในพิภพที่จะสำแดงเรื่องกษั​ตริ​ย์​ได้​ เพราะฉะนั้นไม่​มี​​กษัตริย์​ ​เจ้​านายหรือผู้ปกครองคนใดไต่ถามสิ่งเหล่านี้จากโหร หรือหมอดู หรือคนเคลเดีย

¶ The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
