ఆయన కాలాలపై, సమయాలపై సమస్త అధికారం కలిగి ఉన్నవాడు. రాజులను నియమించేవాడూ, తొలగించేవాడూ ఆయనే. వివేకవంతులకు వివేకం, జ్ఞానులకు జ్ఞానం అనుగ్రహించేది ఆయనే,

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
