രാജാവു ദാനീയേലിനെ മഹാനാക്കി, അവന്നു അനേകം വലിയ സമ്മാനങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു, അവനെ ബാബേൽസംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ബാബേലിലെ സകലവിദ്വാന്മാർക്കും പ്രധാനവിചാരകനും ആക്കിവെച്ചു.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
