తరువాత రాజు తన దేశంలోని ముఖ్య అధికారి అష్పెనజుతో మాట్లాడాడు. బందీలుగా తెచ్చిన ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు కుటుంబానికీ, రాజవంశాలకు చెంది,

¶ And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king’s seed, and of the princes;
