​จริงอยู่​​สิ​่งเหล่านี้​ดู​​ท่าที​​มี​​ปัญญา​ คือการเต็มใจนมัสการ การถ่อมตัวลง และการทรมานกาย ​แต่​​ไม่มี​​ประโยชน์​อะไรในการต่อสู้กับความต้องการของเนื้อหนัง

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
