వీటిలో మానవ నిర్మితమైన మత విధానాల జ్ఞానమూ కపట వినయమూ శరీరాన్ని కఠినంగా అదుపులో పెట్టుకోవడం వంటివి ఉన్నాయి. కానీ శరీర కోరికలను నియంత్రించుకునే విషయంలో అవి ఎందుకూ కొరగానివి.

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
