അവൻ സഭ എന്ന ശരീരത്തിന്റെ തലയും ആകുന്നു; സകലത്തിലും താൻ മുമ്പനാകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ ആരംഭവും മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ആദ്യനായി എഴുന്നേറ്റവനും ആകുന്നു.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
