ആമോസ് 9:1

യഹോവ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു മീതെ നില്ക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ഉത്തരങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങുമാറു നീ പോതികയെ അടിക്ക; അവ എല്ലാവരുടെയും തലമേൽ വീഴുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം തകർത്തുകളക; അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; അവരിൽ ആരും ഓടിപ്പോകയില്ല. അവരിൽ ആരും വഴുതിപ്പോകയുമില്ല.

I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
