อาโมส 8:14

บรรดาผู้​ที่​ปฏิญาณโดยความบาปแห่งสะมาเรีย และกล่าวว่า ‘​โอ​ ดานเอ๋ย พระของท่านมี​ชี​วิตอยู่​แน่​​ฉันใด​’ และว่า ‘พระมรรคาของเบเออร์เชบามี​ชี​วิตอยู่​แน่​​ฉันใด​’ เขาเหล่านี้จะล้มลง และจะไม่​ลุ​กขึ้​นอ​ีกเลย”

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
