Amos 8:8

Of zou het land daarvan niet rillen, En wie erop wonen, geen rouw bedrijven; Zou het niet overal als de Nijl in de hoogte rijzen, Wegvallen en zinken als de stroom van Egypte?

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
