ఆమోసు 7:8

యెహోవా నాతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. “ఆమోసూ, నువ్వేం చూస్తున్నావు?” “మట్టపు గుండు” అన్నాను. అప్పుడు ప్రభువు ఇలా అన్నాడు. “నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్య నేను మట్టపు గుండు వేయబోతున్నాను. ఇక ఏమాత్రం నేను వాళ్ళను వదిలిపెట్టను.

And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
