ஆமோஸ் 3:12

மேலும்: ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் இரண்டு கால்களையோ ஒரு காதின் துண்டையோ சிங்கத்தின் வாயிலிருந்து பிடுங்கித் தப்புவிப்பதைப்போல, சமாரியாவில் குடியிருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் ஒரு படுக்கையின் மூலையிலிருந்தும், ஒரு மெத்தையின் மேலிருந்தும் தப்புவிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
