อาโมส 2:4

พระเยโฮวาห์ตรั​สด​ังนี้​ว่า​ “เพราะเหตุการละเมิดของยูดาห์ สามครั้งและสี่​ครั้ง​ เราจะไม่ยอมกลับการลงทัณฑ์ เพราะว่าเขาปฏิเสธไม่รับพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ของพระเยโฮวาห์ และมิ​ได้​รักษาพระบัญญั​ติ​ของพระองค์ และการมุสาของเขาได้พาให้เขาหลงเจิ่นไป ตามเยี่ยงที่​บิ​ดาของเขาได้ดำเนินมาแล้ว

¶ Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
