Ed io vi trassi fuor del paese di Egitto, e vi condussi per lo deserto, lo spazio di quarant'anni, a possedere il paese degli Amorrei.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
