เมืองลิดดาอยู่​ใกล้​กับเมืองยัฟฟา พวกสาวกได้ยิ​นว​่าเปโตรอยู่​ที่นั่น​ จึงใช้ชายสองคนไปหาท่าน เชิญท่านมาหาเขาโดยเร็ว
