ฝ่ายองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ตรัสกั​บท​่านว่า “จงไปเถิด เพราะว่าคนนั้นเป็นภาชนะที่เราได้เลือกสรรไว้ สำหรับจะนำนามของเราไปยังประชาชาติ ​กษัตริย์​และชนชาติ​อิสราเอล​
