இவ்விதமாக அவர்கள் போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, தண்ணீர் உள்ள ஒரு இடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது மந்திரி: “இதோ, தண்ணீர் இருக்கிறதே, நான் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெறுகிறதற்குத் தடை என்ன” என்றான்.

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
