அந்தப்படி அவன் எழுந்துபோனான். அப்பொழுது எத்தியோப்பியருடைய ராஜாத்தியாகிய கந்தாகே என்பவளுக்கு மந்திரியும் அவளுடைய பொக்கிஷமெல்லாவற்றிற்கும் தலைவனுமாக இருந்த எத்தியோப்பியனாகிய ஒருவன் தொழுதுகொள்ளும்படி எருசலேமுக்கு வந்திருந்து;

And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
