Đoạn, Đức Chúa Trời ban cho người sự giao ước về phép cắt bì. Aáy vậy, khi Aùp-ra-ham đã sanh một con trai là Y-sác, thì làm phép cắt bì cho, trong ngày thứ tám; Y-sác làm phép cắt bì cho Gia-cốp, và Gia-cốp làm phép ấy cho mười hai tổ phụ.
