Toen de tijd der belofte begon te naderen, die God aan Abraham had gedaan, nam het volk in aantal toe, en werd het talrijk in Egypte,

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
