സഹോദരന്മാരും പിതാക്കന്മാരുമായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, കേൾപ്പിൻ. നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാം ഹാരാനിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കും മുമ്പെ മെസൊപ്പൊത്താമ്യയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, തന്നേ തേജോമയനായ ദൈവം അവന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി:

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
