คนทั้งหลายเห็นชอบกับคำนี้ จึงเลือกสเทเฟน ​ผู้​ประกอบด้วยความเชื่อและพระวิญญาณบริ​สุทธิ​์ กับฟี​ลิป​ โปรโครัส นิคาโนร์ ทิ​โมน​ ปารเมนัส และนิโคเลาส์ชาวเมืองอันทิ​โอก​ ซึ่งเป็นผู้​เข​้าจารีตฝ่ายศาสนายิว
