એ વાત આખા વિશ્વાસી સમુદાયને સારી લાગી; અને વિશ્વાસ તથા પવિત્ર આત્માથી ભરપૂર એવા સ્તેફન નામના એક પુરુષને, ફિલિપને, પ્રોખરસને, નિકાનોરને, તિમોનને, પાર્મિનાસને તથા અંત્યોખના યહૂદી થયેલા નિકોલસને તેઓએ પસંદ કર્યા.
