Sedan han nu genom Guds högra hand (Guds kraft) blivit upphöjd [till Guds högra sida] och fått (tagit emot) den utlovade helige Anden (löftet – den helige Ande) av (alldeles intill) Fadern, har han utgjutit (i överflöd låtit tömma ut) detta som ni både ser och hör. [Det grekiska ordet för att ”ta emot” – lambano innefattar ett beslut att villigt och aktivt ta emot något som ges, se även vers 38.]
