Men Festus, som ville hålla sig väl med judarna, frågade Paulus: ”Vill du komma upp till Jerusalem och dömas där [inför det judiska rådet Sanhedrin] i min närvaro i denna sak?”

But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
