เปาโลจึงกล่าวแก่ท่านว่า “พระเจ้าจะทรงตบเจ้า ​ผู้​เป็นผนังที่ฉาบด้วยปูนขาว ​เจ้​านั่งพิพากษาข้าตามพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ และยังสั่งให้เขาตบข้าซึ่งเป็นการผิดพระราชบัญญั​ติ​​หรือ​”

Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
