ร้องว่า “​ชนชาติ​อิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงช่วยกันเถิด คนนี้เป็นผู้​ที่​​ได้​สอนคนทั้งปวงทุกตำบลให้เป็นศั​ตรู​ต่อชนชาติของเรา ต่อพระราชบัญญั​ติ​และต่อสถานที่​นี้​ และยิ่งกว่านั้​นอ​ีก เขาได้พาคนชาวกรีกเข้ามาในพระวิหารด้วย จึงทำให้​ที่​​บริสุทธิ์​​นี้​เป็นมลทิน”

Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
