เพราะฉะนั้นท่านทั้งหลายจงระวังตัวให้​ดี​ และจงรักษาฝูงแกะที่พระวิญญาณบริ​สุทธิ​์​ได้​ทรงตั้งท่านไว้​ให้​เป็นผู้​ดูแล​ และเพื่อจะได้บำรุงเลี้ยงคริสตจักรของพระเจ้า ​ที่​​พระองค์​ทรงไถ่ด้วยพระโลหิตของพระองค์​เอง​

¶ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
