อปอลโลคนนี้​ได้​รับการอบรมในทางขององค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้า​ และมีใจร้อนรนกล่าวสั่งสอนโดยละเอียดถึงเรื่ององค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้า​ ​ถึงแม้​ว่าท่านรู้​แต่​เพียงบัพติศมาของยอห์นเท่านั้น

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
