ครั้นมายังเมืองเอเฟซัส เปาโลได้ละปริ​สส​ิลลากับอาควิลลาไว้​ที่นั่น​ ​แต่​ท่านเองได้​เข​้าไปโต้เถียงกับพวกยิวในธรรมศาลา
