Paulus stannade i Korint ännu en tid innan han tog avsked av bröderna och avseglade mot Syrien i sällskap med Priscilla och Aquila. I Kenkrea hade han dessförinnan låtit raka sitt huvud, eftersom han avlagt ett löfte .
