പൗലൊസ് അവരോടു: റോമപൗരന്മാരായ ഞങ്ങളെ അവർ വിസ്താരം കൂടാതെ പരസ്യമായി അടിപ്പിച്ചു തടവിലാക്കിയല്ലോ; ഇപ്പോൾ രഹസ്യമായി ഞങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നുവോ? അങ്ങനെ അല്ല; അവർ തന്നേ വന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
