പെട്ടെന്നു വലിയോരു ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടായി, കാരാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം കുലുങ്ങി വാതിൽ ഒക്കെയും തുറന്നുപോയി, എല്ലാവരുടെയും ചങ്ങല അഴിഞ്ഞുവീണു.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
