Versterkende de zielen der discipelen, en vermanende, dat zij zouden blijven in het geloof, en dat wij door vele verdrukkingen moeten ingaan in het Koninkrijk Gods.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
