પણ બાર્નાબાસ તથા પાઉલ તથા પ્રેરિતોએ તે વિષે સાંભળ્યું ત્યારે તેઓએ પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ફાડ્યાં, અને લોકોમાં દોડીને મોટે સ્વરે કહ્યું કે,
