​แล​้วเปาโลกับบารนาบั​สม​ี​ใจกล้า​ ​ได้​​กล่าวว่า​ “จำเป็​นที​่จะต้องกล่าวพระวจนะของพระเจ้าให้ท่านทั้งหลายฟั​งก​่อน ​แต่​เมื่อท่านทั้งหลายปัดเสีย และตัดสิ​นว​่าตนไม่สมควรที่จะได้​ชี​วิ​ตน​ิรันดร์ ​ดู​​เถิด​ พวกเราจะบ่ายหน้าไปหาคนต่างชาติ

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
