അവനെ നീക്കീട്ടു ദാവീദിനെ അവർക്കു രാജാവായി വാഴിച്ചു: ഞാൻ യിശ്ശായിയുടെ മകനായ ദാവീദിനെ എനിക്കു ബോധിച്ച പുരുഷനായി കണ്ടു; അവൻ എന്റെ ഹിതം എല്ലാം ചെയ്യും എന്നു അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
