அவன் தேவபக்தியுள்ளவனும் தன் குடும்பத்தாரோடும் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவனுமாக இருந்து, மக்களுக்கு அதிக தருமங்களைச் செய்து, எப்பொழுதும் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
