તિમોથીને બીજો પત્ર 1:3

વંશપરંપરાથી જે મારા પૂર્વજોના ઈશ્વર કે, જેમને હું શુદ્ધ અંતઃકરણથી ભજું છું, તેમની આભારસ્તુતિ કરું છું કે, મારી પ્રાર્થનાઓમાં હું રાતદિવસ તારું સ્મરણ નિત્ય કરું છું.

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
